The New Jersey Legal Training Academy, LLC (NJLTA, LLC) is proud to once again offer our two-day fall CLE symposium for attorneys to earn up to fifteen (15) New Jersey CLE Credits (4 eligible for Ethics/Professionalism) across six of the required newly admitted legal specialty areas! 

NJ CLE:

This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 15.0 Credits.  Of these, 4.0 qualify for Ethics/Professionalism. 

This program has also been approved to provide credits in the following Newly Admitted Practice areas: (1) NJ Basic Estate Planning, (2) NJ Trust & Business Accounting, (3) NJ Civil or Criminal Trial Practice, (4) Family Law,  (5) NJ Real Estate Procedures, and (6) NJ Landlord/Tenant Practice.

PA CLE:

This program has been approvedl by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Board on Continuing Legal Education for 12.5 Credits (11.5 Substantive & 1.0 Ethics)

New Jersey:

This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 15.0 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 4.0 qualify as hours of credit for ethics/professionalism, and 0.0 qualify as hours of credit toward certification in civil trial law, criminal trial law, workers compensation law and/or matrimonial law.

John A. DeSantis, Jr. is the President and co-founder of Meridian Title Agency, Inc., a family business, which was incorporated in 1989 under the principles of integrity and professionalism.

John began his career as a title searcher in 1984 along side his mentor and co-founder of Meridian Title Agency, the late Michael “Uncle Nick” Beres.  He became adept at title searching, tract and development work, plotting, title examination, unknown owner searches and genealogy.  Shortly thereafter, Meridian Title expanded its operations to become a full service title agency, conducting thousands of real estate settlements for purchase, refinance, foreclosure, short sale and commercial deals.

John is a licensed title insurance producer as well as a Notary Public of the State of New Jersey.  He has been a guest lecturer at Brookdale Community College as well as for law firms, continuing education centers, lenders and real estate agents.

Sean Wirth is an Associate Lomurro, Munson, Comer, Brown and Schottland, in Freehold NJ.in the Firm's Family Department. Sean handles all matrimonial matters including divorce, domestic violence, pre-nuptial agreements, child custody, parenting time, alimony, and child support. Prior to joining the Firm, Sean served as a law clerk for the Honorable Richard W. English, Monmouth County Superior Court, Family Division. He received his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law. In 2013, Sean completed an Intensive Trial Advocacy Program and participated in the Hugh B. Pearce Trial Competition. Sean is a New Jersey native and is actively involved in his local community.

Chen Li has been an attorney since 2002, admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York. Chen earned a B.A. from Queens College, City University of New York. She obtained her J.D. from St. John's University. Chen is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Before becoming an attorney, she worked for Ernst and Young, LLP and Dreyfus Realty Advisors, Inc. After law school, Chen worked as an attorney in law firms with concentration on elder law, estate planning and estate administration. Chen has been working for the Law Offices of Donald Vanarelli since 2006.

Chen is an adjunct professor for the Paralegal Studies program in the Brookdale Community College. Chen also served as an adjunct professor for the Paralegal Studies Certificate Program in Fairleigh Dickinson University for over three years.

Michael K. Sullivan is an Assistant Professor and the Program Director of the American Bar Association (ABA) approved Legal Studies Program at Brookdale Community College located in Lincroft, New Jersey. Mr. Sullivan has also served as an educational consultant assisting Legal Studies programs in securing and maintaining ABA approval status.

Mr. Sullivan received his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law, during which time he served as a Teaching Fellow in the University's Academic Support Program. Mr. Sullivan served as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert W. O'Hagan in the New Jersey Superior Court, Monmouth Vicinage, Civil Part, Law Division. Following the clerkship, Mr. Sullivan joined a mid-sized law firm in where he specialized in commercial and corporate litigation.

Mr. Sullivan has well over a decade of legal education experience in the following areas: Paralegal Training, Contracts, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Torts, Property, Civil Litigation, Civil Procedure, Legal Ethics, Corporate Law, Legal Research, and Legal Writing.

Joe Zavaglia is a Professor in the ABA approved Legal Studies Program at Brookdale Community College located in Lincroft, New Jersey. Additionally, Mr. Zavaglia has taught at Seton Hall University School of Law as well as Temple University. Mr. Zavaglia also serves as the Director of Legal Seminars for ACEP.

​Mr. Zavaglia received his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee. Currently, he serves as Of Counsel at Lomurro, Davison, Eastman & Munoz in Freehold, New Jersey. Mr. Zavaglia has also been approved to teach continuing education courses to real estate agents and title professionals.

Mr. Zavaglia has over thirty years of legal lecturing and paralegal training experience in the following areas: Contracts, Torts, Civil Litigation, Civil Procedure, Corporate Law, Moot Court, Property, Estates, Entertainment Law, Legal Ethics, and Legal Research & Writing.
